How to treat the lost properties within the Komaba I Campus
No proper rules regarding collecting the lost properties within the Komaba I Campus (such as deadlines to transfer the lost properties) were set till now, but from now on, the Student Support Section of the College of Arts and Sciences (1st floor, window 8 of the Administration Building) would collect the lost property as quickly as possible. We would work towards improving the services for the owner of the lost property through creating proper rules, so it would be greatly appreciated if you can cooperate with us.
When you have lost your property (looking for lost properties)
- The properties found within the Komaba I Campus would be collected at the Student Support Section of the College of Arts and Sciences (1st floor, window 8 of the Administration Building) within [two working days].
- If we can find the owner’s contact information through his/ her lost property, we would contact them through the contact information registered in UTask-Web or UT-mate the day we received their property.
- We would post information of lost properties collected at the Student Support Section that does not have the owner’s contact information on the this website (http://www.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/campuslife/portal/lost-property-list/). Please be aware that the website can only be accessed within the campus, and that some categories such as shoes and clothes would not be posted on the website.
- When you want to collect your lost property, please come to the Student Support Section of the College of Arts and Sciences (1st floor, window 8 of the Administration Building) with your student ID, teacher/staff ID, or any other official ID card.
- If the owner of the lost property does not appear after 1~2 months, the property would be handed to the police office.
★In some cases, the property is placed on the podium of classrooms. First, please look around places that you could have lost your property once again before you come here.
When you picked up a lost property (handing in a lost property)
Please bring the lost properties collected within the Komaba I Campus to the Student Support Section of the College of Arts and Sciences (1st floor, 8th window of the Administration Building) as soon as possible.（※1）
IF the window is closed, please bring it to the main entrance guard house.（※2）
※1 If you find lost properties within the facilities of the Graduate School of Mathematical Science, please hand it to the office of the Graduate School of Mathematical Science.
※2 You may hand the lost properties to the offices of each buildings, but in order to decrease the amount of office procedures and paper works, it would help greatly if you can bring it directly to the Student Support Section.
