Korean Studies course

The Korean peninsula is a region that has had one of the closest relationships with Japan over the years and even today, their politics, economy and culture are of great interest to us. The Korean Studies curriculum covers a broad range of disciplines, including politics, economics, sociology, history, culture and linguistics; students are thus able to gain a comprehensive understanding of North and South Korea while also having the freedom to pursue specific areas of their interest. Together with the Asian Studies and Japanese Studies courses, we also encourage students to see the bigger picture and place the Korean peninsula in the context of the wider Asian continent.
