Submission Procedure of Registration Approval Card (Rishu-nintei-kado) for 2022A Semester (A1/A2 Term)  Important

As for the procedure to register for courses requiring Registration Approval Card (Rishu-nintei-kado) in the PEAK Academic Handbook (pp.43-44), the Registration Approval Card (e-version) will be used for 2022A Semester courses, as in the previous year.

Procedure using Registration Approval Card (E-version)

<Preparation>
1. Planning your course taking
Some courses are designated with specific classes and streams. Please make sure to check Syllabus on UTAS.
*For the 2022A Semester, the April-entry students' courses will be conducted face-to-face in principle except for the first classes. Moreover, there are some courses that cannot be taken online due to the course method or the conditions of the instructor. It is not permitted to request for April-entry students' courses to be offered online.

2. Acquiring course taking approval from course instructors
You must obtain approval for course taking from the course instructors in advance. (If you got an approval by e-mail, ITC-LMS, or Zoom, please keep the data for your records.)

<Submission and course registration>
1. Obtaining Registration Approval Card
The e-version of approval card is downloadable from the notice "2022 A Semester Registration Approval Card (E-version)" posted September 30 on UTAS "Bulletin Board".

2. Submitting the filled Registration Approval Card
Please submit the filled form to the PEAK/GPEAK Section via email. *Do not change the file format.

Submission period (by uploading the filled card) Strictly Observed
-For A Semester and A1/A2 Term courses: From October 3 (Mon) to October 24 (Mon) 4:50 p.m.
-For A2 Term courses: From November 29 (Tue) to December 12 (Mon) 4:50 p.m.

3. Checking the registration on UTAS
Submitted registration card will be automatically reflected on the "Course Registration" screen on UTAS in about a week. Make sure you check on UTAS at a later date to ensure the registration has been successfully completed.

【Notice】General course registration and registration for the Specialized Courses are to be completed via UTAS as usual. (Submission of the Registration Approval Card is not required.) Please read through the PEAK Academic Handbook and News from PEAK/GPEAK Section on the Junior Division website to follow the designated procedure.
