About the Comprehensive Reform of Undergraduate Education

On June 19, the University of Tokyo posted on its website, “About the Comprehensive Reform of Undergraduate Education (From the Review of Basic Educational Issues such as Admission Dates), and “Response to the Report from the Review of Basic Educational Issues such as Admission Dates (From the President).”  (http://www.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ja/news/notices/647/

On the same day, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences posted the Deans’ responses, “Toward a Comprehensive Reform of Undergraduate Education”, on its website. We are also publishing the “Report from the Special Committee for the Review of Undergraduate Education – The Possibility and Prospect of a Comprehensive Reform of Undergraduate Education” to provide the public with more accurate information about the course of internal discussions. This report was submitted to the Dean on March 19 of this year.
