Grade Confirmation Request 2024 A Semester
Confirmation of Grades for Semester A (A1 and A2 terms) of Academic Year 2024
Grades for Semester A (including A1 and A2 terms) of AY2024 can be checked through UTAS from Friday, March 7. *Official transcripts showing the grades for the 2024 A semester can be issued starting from the same day using the automatic certificate issuing machine.
Please be sure to check your grades during the following period. If a course has a grade of "F, M" and it clearly appears to be an error by the course instructor, you may apply to have the grade checked. Please contact PEAK/GPEAK Section (gpeak.admin.c(at)gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp).

When contacting the PEAK/GPEAK Section, the body of the email must have the information below.
・Course Title, Course Instructor, Question Contents
・Student ID number, Program, Department, MA / Ph.D course, Name
To apply for grade confirmation, specific reasons must be provided. If the course instructor finds that there is an error in grading, the grade will be corrected.
The results of the confirmation will be notified in the order in which the respond is sent by the course instructor. It usually takes about two weeks to a month to get the answer. The corrected grades will be reflected in the transcript after the paperwork is processed.
If you are assigned a grade for the course that you do not wish to get the credits for some reason, you can also make a request during the period.
*If you have any questions about grades for courses offered by other faculties or graduate schools, please contact the academic affairs office of the faculty or graduate school offering the course.
*If you cannot check the grades of courses offered by other faculties or graduate schools, please contact the academic affairs office of the faculty or graduate school where the course is offered. Please wait until the grades are displayed. The same goes for the courses offered by Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
