《Office for English-Language Educational Support》Teaching Assistant (TA) positions available (Application Deadline: March 21, 2019)
The Department of English Language is seeking Teaching Assistants for English courses in the coming 2019 Spring semester. We have several courses in the junior division that need graduate students to assist as TAs.
TAs work under the direct instruction of teachers for each of the courses. The major tasks for TAs would be facilitating student discussions and setting up audiovisual equipment as the need arises. We also hope to get assistance from TAs in other areas like developing teaching resources, monitoring new teaching materials, making reports, offering English proofing, and recording, among others.
To work as a TA is a good way to acquire teaching experience, especially for those who are seeking to pursue a teaching job in the future.
