Mitaka International Hall of Residence

The Mitaka International Hall of Residence in Mitaka City was built for students at the Komaba Campus (and international students across all three campuses). As indicated by its name, the Residence aims to encourage cultural exchange between Japanese and international students, and the ratio of Japanese to international students is 7:3. It consists of six residential blocks and one common block including the Multi-Purpose -Hall. All 605 rooms are single bedrooms equipped with basic furniture, a mini-kitchen, toilet, shower, and an air-conditioning unit, and provide a comfortable living environment at a very low cost. Another characteristic of this residence is that there is a 25% minimum quota for female students, who live on a designated female-only floor.
Mitaka International Hall of Residence has changed part of the floors to all-gender floors from FY2024.
