【国連大学（UNU-IAS）】7/8（金）、7/15（金）イベントのご案内 ／ Upcoming Events
１．「グローバル・キャリア・ダイアローグ/ Global Careers Dialogue」（シリーズ・英語開催）
このたび国連大学サステイナビリティ高等研究所（UNU-IAS）では、学生を中心に、将来、地球規模課題等に取り組む分野においてキャリアを希望する者を対象に、「グローバル・キャリア・ダイアローグ」と題し、学生および若手社会人の方々に向けて、国際組織の専門家や政策立案者の専門的な経験や国際的キャリア形成についての知見を、参加型の対話を通じて共有する、一連の対面型キャリア・イベントを開催いたします。
初回は、国連グローバル・コンパクト・ネットワーク・ジャパンの有馬利男代表理事をお招きして、自身の国際的なキャリア経験や、これからの人材に期待する資質などについてお話しいただきます。その後、参加者との質疑応答を行います。

[Profile of the Speaker]
After graduating from the College of Liberal Arts of International Christian University in 1967, Toshio Arima joined Fuji Xerox. He became President and Representative Director of that company in 2002. In 2007 he retired as President and was appointed as Executive Advisor to the Board. In 2012 he retired from Fuji Xerox. He had served as a Board Member of the United Nations Global Compact from 2007 to June 2018. Since 2008 he also has been serving as Chairman of the Board of Global Compact Network Japan.

This event series aims to inform and encourage young professionals to choose an international career path and deepen understanding of global careers opportunities.

2．「開発途上国におけるパリ協定の実施 -- 緑の気候基金ヤニック・グレマレック事務局長との対話」（英語開催）
来日中の「緑の気候基金（Green Climate Fund：GCF）」の ヤニック・グレマレック事務局長を迎えて講演会を開催し、 開発途上国におけるパリ協定の実施を促進するための課題や機会について議論します。
グレマレック氏の講演とそれに続くパネルディスカッションで、開発途上国における気候変動への緩和・適応策およびこれら気候変動対策の実施を支援するGCFおよび各機関の政策やプログラムについて紹介します。
また、世界各国において気候変動に取り組み持続可能な変革を実現するために不可欠な、実務者やユースの能力開発や教育の役割について議論します。

Event: Implementing the Paris Agreement in Developing Countries -- A Dialogue with Dr Yannick Glemarec

There will be a special dialogue meeting inviting Dr Yannick Glemarec, Executive Director of Green Climate Fund, to be schedules as below which is organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Green Climate Fund (GCF) in collaboration with UNU. This event provides a great opportunity to discuss furthering promotion of the implementation of the Paris Agreement in develop countries. It will be also a great opportunity to learn about the international fund scheme, Green Climate Fund.
